Well, I’m now back home again after a week away in London at a Sun training course. Both myself and Darren were signed up on a intro to JES course, which actually turned out to be pretty good. I had some misgivings that it would be a bit basic, given that it’s aimed at people who haven’t really touched it but it turned out to offer some good ideas and demonstrate what can be done. It may have helped that there was only one other person doing the course other than me and Darren… Being in London turned out to be pretty cool too. Being a country kid I’ve managed to mostly avoid London, but thanks to some excellent tour guides (cheers Darren and Phil!) I’ve now managed to tick off pretty much every “must see” place. Admittedly most of these were only seen for about 4 seconds, but still, I’ve now “done” London :) The hotel was really nice and the rooms were airconned, which was great! Breakfasts were cooked buffet and entertainment was provided by Americans setting fire to the toaster. However the one time we had dinner there we had a rather surreal experience, so maybe eating out in the evening is best! :) Now I’m back home I’m working on spending the £21 of luncheon vouchers I have left (we got £7 a day for lunch!). Luckily Starbucks take them so I’m sure it won’t take long :)
