Today we went to Alcatraz. Weather was a bit kack which was a shame, but brightened up later on. It was a really interesting wander round, it can’t have been a lot of fun to be a prisoner there. After spending about two hours there we caught the ferry back and headed over to Pier 39 (major tourist trap). Only spent about half an hour there as it started throwing it down again. Headed back to the hotel and lounged around for a bit. Went out to Lori’s diner for dinner, which is a 50’s themed dinner. Nice meal and a nice chunky hot fudge sundae for dessert
